- 4 large tomatoes
- Sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
- 8 to 10 fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Wash and dry tomatoes. With a sharp knife, cut tomatoes into wedges and put into salad bowl.
- Season with sea salt and pepper to taste. Tear basil leaves into small pieces and add to tomatoes. Add oil and toss gently. Cover and refrigerate.
