Bunnies you can gobble up

It's one of my favorite times of the year...Ah....Easter, with all of it's pretty colors and fresh spring foods. One of my favorite things to do was to make a bunny cake for my kids. They loved decorating it and licking up the leftovers. http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/easter-bunny-cake/b8af0f55-67d5-4fb0-aaec-ab11ff5df7e3

Bunny cakes are fun to do and the kids will think it's great fun if you havent done this already. Take two  8-9 inch cake pans and bake your favorite cake. Let cool 10 minutes and remove from pans to cool on a rack. When completely cooled use one of the cakes to cut out ears and bow tie. Try these sites with great ideas. http://holdthegluten.net/tag/gluten-free-easter-bunny-cake/ , or   http://candyaddict.com/blog/2008/03/21/easter-bunny-cake-and-candy-creation/ I love carrot cake, frosted with coconut on top...and the kids thought having a hairy bunny was the bomb. Tastes yummy too.

Or try this bunny cake  http://www.howdini.com/howdini-video-10471241.html There are lots of ideas out there go and have fun! Use the Gluten Free list for candies I have here on my site for the face and make a bunny smile.
